The Dayton Business Journal recently published a list of the top 25 high schools in the Dayton region. Aside from being a former teacher at #2 on the list (bragging!), I feel extremely fortunate to work with the #1 school as a photographer.
I’ve been photographing the Miami Valley School for over 2 years now. I get to attend special events, sporting events, and also witness some inspiring candid moments within the classrooms on average school days. You can see a lot of my work all over their website, but in honor of them making #1 on the Top 25 List, here are MY top 25 moments photographing their fantastic school (not just the high school!)
I must emphasize that these are in no particular order. That would be literally impossible for me. I love all my time there, from patiently spying on their tiniest learners (waiting for the perfect moment of engagement to witness), to running around like crazy person (attempting to not miss a thing!) at their annual Auction Gala. There is never a dull moment at this place, and I couldn’t be prouder to help capture the magic.
