This is one of my favorite events of the year! TED is such a cool organization, and I especially love how the TEDxYouth offshoot has grown to further amplify the voices of young people all over the world. TEDxYD (TEDxYouth@Dayton) is in its fifth year (hence this year’s theme “Take 5”) and my super talented and tenacious wife has been a developer and organizer of the event since Year 1. Her hard work, along with the rest of the committee and countless volunteers, have made the event what it is. They’ve come a long way – this year welcomed record numbers of applicants and audience members.
It was a great event and fabulous process to witness. Congrats to the whole team, especially these young speakers, for a job well done! I’m already looking forward to next year.

Wow! What an exciting TEDxYouth event! So many photos! Enjoyed looking at them all! The bright colors in contrast to the B&W options made the album more fun! The kids appeared to be having a great time, too! Wish there had been commentary to reference their topics, although I did see some posters which appeared to give the title (perhaps?) of the presentation. Their animated faces and gestures made me want to know more.
